Psychological and Educational Testing
As a parent, we want to be able to provide the best for our children and ensure that they get the best supports in school and in life. I want to help you and your child get assistance to be academically, cognitively, and emotionally successful. Testing can help to determine if your child meets qualifications for gifted and talented (GT) services, needs accommodations for a specific learning disorder, has emotional concerns that could be interfering with learning, or is behind academically. After testing, I will provide a complete list of recommendations tailored to your child's specific strengths and needs.

School or Learning problem, ADHD or Anxiety?
Are you worried that your child has fallen behind during the COVID pandemic? Are you concerned that Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or Anxiety could be interfering with your child's academic performance? Academic and psychological testing could identify appropriate supports for your child.
What To Expect
We will initially discuss your child's testing needs in a brief phone consultation. If testing is indicated, we will meet to obtain relevant background and academic information. I will then tailor a cognitive, learning, and/or academic assessment to determine your child's needs. I will spend one-on-one time with your child conducting the evaluation. I am happy to coordinate with your child's teacher or other educational providers in order to get their perspective within the classroom. After testing is complete, I will write up a report with the results and specific recommendations. Finally, we will meet to review the report and to answer any questions you have regarding the results.
